بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Ibnu Taimiyyah sagte:
وَالتَّقْوَى هِيَ فِعْلُ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَتَرْكُ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
„Die Taqwa ist, dass man das tut, was Allah befohlen hat, und das unterlässt, was Allah verboten hat.“ [Majmu’ al-Fatawa (3/416)]
„Taqwa“ wird zumeist mit „Gottesfurcht“ übersetzt.
